Early Intervention Program (EIS)

AIDS Counseling

Early Intervention Services are to be provided during traditional and non-traditional hours and in non-traditional settings in the North and South end of Hartford. Services include HIV counseling, education, risk reduction and testing, referrals to Ryan White services such as Primary care, Medical case management, Substance abuse treatment, and referrals to community based agencies and services.

 

 

Target

EIS will target persons at high risk for HIV and persons who know that they are HIV positive but are not in care. In addition, the EIS team will ensure that services are available to Black women and Black men who have sex with men. .
