Central CT AHEC is proud to announce a new initiative for our community!
The CNA Pathways to College Program.
We at Central AHEC are pleased to announce that we have been fully accredited as an official CNA training facility by the CT Department of Public Health. Class registration is now open. Our class is limited to eight to twelve spaces and it's first come first served so please apply early! The application is now open!
The program aims to create culturally competent caregivers who hope to make healthcare a career. The program is free and based on qualifications, however, we require a drug screen test and a background check, also a TB test (Tuberculosis) that the students are responsible to obtain and pay for. We also offer the opportunity to become CPR certified, there is a fee that will be the student's responsibility. We invite anyone in the community to apply and to be part of this exciting adventure!
